Cannot quit if GPS is off

I started the application, it says "GPS is diabled, enable GPS to use this application".

When I press "quit", KeyPad mapper stays active in the system with an icon "Data recording is active".

When I go back to this, I am faced again with the same dialog box, to go settings and quit (that does not quit).

When I enable the GPS finally, I can get a rid of that dialog box and the program starts.

(And there is no way in the program either to quit. So now I reboot the phone. So this is a second bug.)

Using Android 2.3.3 on Xperia X10.

Indeed this is not logical.

Well fix it in version 3.2 which will most likely be avail late September 2013.

 
2nd mentioned issue:

this is a misunderstanding:

The app stays on after putting it to the background if "Recording" in the context menu is active.

The app stops working after putting it to the background if "Recording" is off.

Pls read the help text which gives you further details on that.
