Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe 👀

This would potentially solve issues like the 127.0.0.1 loopback adaptor issue needed for Windows local discovery.
Also just gives support and testers a way to connect in non-standard ways.

Describe the solution you'd like 🎁

On the discovery screen there's a url text entry field.
Default should be 127.0.0.1:8000 (or last connected URL)
Next to this there's a connect button to connect now (and cancel discovery)

Adjust auto connect to auto connect to manual connection even if no discovery.

Describe alternatives you've considered 💭

Improve reliablity of discovery?
