Description

  • Decrease timeout to quit SWO output .
  • Disable SWO on STM32F429 and STM32F769 targets.

Motivation and Context

  • SWO output was using an extended timeout to make sure all output was delivered. On STM32F4 and STM32F7 cores and in a situation where the SWO output wasn't being drained (meaning no ST-Link connected and listenting) the extended timeout was causing a massive delay on the boot. The reason for this was the recent improvement on debugger find at CLR boot start which now outputs the assembly details. The output of all this data through SWO was causing the boot to take a huge amount of time because of all that failed output.

How Has This Been Tested?
