I was looking at implementing this and saw another related issue: #163. Figured we could continue that thread here.

I would think that we would have multiple user permissions/roles within a company such that a user with permissions "owner", etc. would be able add/remove users associated with a company, set permissions, etc. @egdelwonk @lisafrench thoughts?

Yep, that makes sense.

We'd probably want a way for people to accept an invite to join a company, or request an invite to join a company. We could facilitate this via slack messages automatically.

There is some code in the repo already to handle sending messages to join the three users together (bot, user a, and user b).

We'd send a notice with an accept link with a one time use token and then it'd add the user. This would prevent us from having to setup an smtp/sendgrid/mailgun account and piggyback off of our existing slack bot infrastructure.

@egdelwonk awesome, that sounds good, and I'll look into it.

I think we would have a "Manage Users" button on the company edit view ("/company/{companyId}/edit") that, when clicked, would load a company users management component. From that component, I think we would allow company users with "owner" permissions to manage existing users and start the "invite" process.

As far as permissions levels, I'm thinking "owner" and "member" are enough for now, where "owner" users have full access to editing related company data and "member" users can simply add company jobs.
