It would be quite useful if the table's content was rich text. I have to format single words different from the rest of the content, which currently is quite hard to achieve.

I think this should be possible to add - I should have time next week to look into it.

this is a quick and dirty fix, as arbitrary html/javascript code could
be inserted through the table element.
I don't see a high security risk, but please think about that before
merging.

The structure of the spec objects used in Dom.newDOMFragment isn't documented. I found out that I can set the inner HTML through the _html property. You seem to have some insight in stencil developing, could you improve documentation if you find the time?
