Set Up

Ensure that python3 is set up on your system.

Create a virtual environment with virtualenv.

Install requirements

pip install -r requirements.txt

Geo-spatial Analysis

• Warning * this might be a pain in the ass

Install: pip install -r geo-requirements.txt

Downloadable data

python setup.py <argument>

Available arguments:

raw - Downloads raw data set folder 'vz-hackathon-2'

small_geojson - geojson files and assorted dc geospatial data

parking_1million - sample of 1 million parking violations in cleaned tsv format

parking_100k - sample of 100k parking violations in cleaned tsv format

cleaned_parking_data - full data set of 11,748,803 parking violations
