Hello All, I'm a brand new CORAL user, still planning things out in the Development environment. I had started with 1.2 and we just switched over to 1.3. I've noticed a couple of small things in the Resource Module. I'm hoping this is the right place to address these issues. Thanks in advance for your help.

  1. I'm unable to delete the Acquisition Type 'paid', even though I have no resource records using this status.
  2. In the "Add a New Resource" box, version 1.2 had an "Initial Cost" area where one could put in the fund and price. The Initial Cost fields seem to be missing in 1.3. Is there a way I can add this back in? It works much better to have this for our workflow.

Hi Varvp,

Can you give us details on what you mean by : "i'm unable" : there is no
button ? there's a button but you cannot click ? You can clic, but it
does not delete,...

The costs has been changed between those 2 versions: now, you can keep
the cost history. I think this explain that.

Paul, Thanks for your response, I hope the information below clarifies
things.

  1. I can click 'x' remove , but it doesn't allow me to remove the
acquisition type "PAID", it comes up with a message "Unable to delete, this
acquisition type is in use. Please make sure no resources are set up with
this information". I have confirmed that no workflows or resource records
    contain "PAID".
Anyway, I got around it by editing and renaming.
  2. I appreciate being able to keep the cost history, however, one must now
go into the Acquisitions tab and "edit cost history" in order to enter the
fund/price. There is nowhere to enter the fund on the "Add a New Resource"
page (as there was in version 1.2).
Having a place to enter the fund/cost when you are creating a new record
would be useful. It's not apparent/intuitive otherwise where the fund/cost
info would be entered without specific instructions. This presents training
    issues...

Best,
Varvara
