Code Review

This pull request from Snyk incorrectly downgrades @angular/forms from ^15.0.0 to ^12.2.17. This creates a major version mismatch with other Angular packages in the project, which are all on version 15. This is a critical issue that will cause peer dependency conflicts and likely break the application. This change should be rejected.

"@angular/compiler": "^15.0.0",
"@angular/core": "^15.0.0",
"@angular/forms": "^15.0.0",

critical

This change downgrades @angular/forms from ^15.0.0 to ^12.2.17. This introduces a major version mismatch with the other @angular packages in your project, which are on version ^15.0.0. Angular packages are tightly coupled and should be kept on the same major version to avoid build failures and runtime errors. This change will likely break your application.

P1 Badge Keep @angular/forms on Angular 15

In angular-app/package.json the commit downgrades @angular/forms to ^12.2.17 while the rest of the Angular framework stays on ^15.0.0 (lines 16–20). The 12.2.17 package (see package-lock.json lines 669–673) declares peerDependencies on @angular/common, @angular/core, and @angular/platform-browser 12.2.x, so with the current Angular 15 packages npm install or ng build will error out due to unmet peers. Align @angular/forms back to the Angular 15 series to keep the framework versions consistent.
