Some students see a blank screen

We have not been able to reproduce this, but some students see a blank screen with the app never loading at all. We cannot reproduce it locally, but this is consistent for them with both the live server and package. See below from one student. See below for their console ... any ideas?

@jdanish So they've never been able to load the app from this particular location? Or are they sometimes able to load it and sometimes not?

It's possible the network they're on locks all websocket connections?

Any chance you can get a screenshot of the network tab too?

Partially addressed with #129. Haven't duplicated/tested yet.
