Bug: Problem Loading Data with Multiple Clients #22

Description

@daveseah

Ben reports (emphasis mine):

[...] In any case, I had confirmed that it would run on 2 clients and not a third (a computer, a phone, and an iPad). It didn’t matter whether it was the phone or the iPad that was the third client. The third client never showed the graph.

To try to reproduce, I ran the current build from #20 (d868e1) on my home network. The server is my development MBP15(2013).

  • two tabs in Chrome, one tab in Firefox loading both localhost:3000 and 192.168.1.182:3000...CONFIRMED WORKING by changing name of BOARD OF HEALTH node and seeing if the other tabs updated, and whether the terminal and consoles showed data flowing.
  • add Windows 10 client (Chrome)...CONFIRMED WORKING
  • add iPhone SE client running IOS 11.4.1...CONFIRMED WORKING
  • add iPad (2017) client running IOS 11.4.1...CONFIRMED WORKING
  • add MacMini (2015) client (Chrome)...CONFIRMED WORKING

I did note an issue (expected) with the iPad going to sleep and not being aware that an update had been pushed, but refreshing the browser loaded the most recent data.

NEED MORE INFO TO REPRODUCE
