Steps to reproduce

1. Post a message
2. Edit it
3. Have someone react to it

Expected behaviour

Nothing special, you can continue editing uninterrupted.

Actual behaviour

When you edit your message, and someone reacts to it meanwhile, your cursor jumps to the end of the input. When this happens while you type, your words get cut and position in the message lost.
