This is precisely why I had opened up #528, but it was closed by NextDNS. Any upstream blocklist could lock people out of the dashboard inadvertently.

well a parent might want to block nextdns.io just in case the children find out and change the configuration or delete the account

I would hope a parent is not sharing their NextDNS login info with their children. 👀

they could allow nextdns.io unless it is being blocked by denylist

It's a terrible security practice to give access to a device logged into a service's admin dashboard to the very same people who are being restricted by said service.

problem with energized https://block.energized.pro/ultimate/formats/domains.txt

Seems it's not just the Energized Ultimate list, but others as well.

Simple solution. All Energized lists have been removed and are now blacklisted.

NextDNS official response to this issue.
