I often have to insert figures generated by MultiQC in my reports, which means that every time I have to export them manually from the multiqc_report.html - a pretty time-consuming task.
I found out that it's also possible to get MultiQC to save plots as stand alone files adding the -p/--export flag, or setting the export_plots config option to true (see https://multiqc.info/docs/). Would you consider adding this change to the pipeline? I can good imagine there are quite a few other users this would really help - and at the same time it would be harmless for those who don't need it.
