Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
CustomXml could become really cluttered if we have no core functionality to remove all Xml without existing table-worksheet combination.

Describe the solution you'd like
Maybe add to autoformat or fill reference columns

This can now be done via Settings -> Custom Xml -> Advanced Settings.
