API key for calls to Sherlock

Hi
Could it be possible to add another security layer to Sherlock, so that it would only receive and process calls if a Key is present and the call is done using https endpoint?

The reason for this is that we would like to avoid malware filling up Bigquery with wrong data
can we do that? how can we create keys per publisher,. so that each publisher would need to add a distinctive key to log data in Bigquery?

Do you havy any other suggetsion on how to secure and avoid filling Bigquery with crap?
