Would it make sense to emit OSC 9;4; ANSI sequences? If the terminal supports those it can display a progress bar in its UI.

Nice idea! Too bad it's ConEmu specific. Do you know if the Windows Terminal supports this or if there is any standardization effort?

I don't know what the status is on standardisation efforts, but IIUC at least 2 linux terminal apps support this, Kitty and Ptyxis :)

I don't use Windows, but iiuc the Windows Terminal might support this already? I'm not sure :)
