Enh/file - allow support for hashing Files

Types of changes

• Bug fix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)

• Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing functionality to change)

Summary

Creates a specific type File for annotation when the input should hash the content of the file rather than just the name. This augments #96.
