How to execute a function at nitro start and export a client I can use in other files

I need to start a puppeteer client at nitro startup and import the client in API routes where I need to use it.

How do I archive this?

I tried to set the function outside the eventHandler function, but this is executed only on nuxi dev and not with nuxi build && nuxi start
