app.configsupport added to Nitro v2 mainly for feature parity with same feature of Nuxt and also allowing Nuxt apps to access app config from server handlers.This feature does not actually belongs to nitro core and adds unnecessary (in nuxt actually double!) of app config to the bundle and code complexity.
Similar feature can be implemented using nitro VFS for bundled config/data.
