Welcome to the Sensoradministration wiki!

This project came into existence during my work on my master-thesis. During this time, it occured to me that there is no existing general platform to keep track of various sensors in my projects. The database is supposed to answer the questions which sensor is where, what could it measure, what does it measure and how am I able to reach it. Its also possible to receive informations about current settings for a specific device.

As it was only used as a proof of concept, its not a ready-to-use-software. The complete concept can be seen in the following diagram, whereas this project only covers the "webserver" section.

During start-up of the application, a XML-File is generated which can be imported into an OPC UA-server (neither the server nor the OPC UA-Gateway is part of this project).
