Notes

The agenda comes from issues labelled with ctc-agenda across all of the repositories in the nodejs org. Please label any additional issues that should be on the agenda before the meeting starts.

Joining the meeting

Uberconference; participants should have the link & numbers, contact me if you don't.

Public participation

We stream our conference call straight to YouTube so anyone can listen to it live, it should start playing at https://www.youtube.com/c/nodejs+foundation/live when we turn it on. There's usually a short cat-herding time at the start of the meeting and then occasionally we have some quick private business to attend to before we can start recording & streaming. So be patient and it should show up.

Many of us will be on IRC in #node-dev on Freenode if you'd like to interact, we have a Q/A session scheduled at the end of the meeting if you'd like us to discuss anything in particular. @nodejs/collaborators in particular if there's anything you need from the CTC that's not worth putting on as a separate agenda item, this is a good place for it.

I don't know if they can make it on short notice and I'm not sure how prepared everyone will be to discuss it (I hope very prepared but these things usually take a meeting or two), but I would like to propose inviting @jkrems to participate/observe for the debugger/node-inspect discussion. Any objections?

No objections.

And a reminder: The discussion on nodejs/node-eps#20 (ABI Stability work) will be focused on whether to accept the EPS as a draft. Strong +1 from me.

I can be there for the first 30mins. I have a conflict for the second half. +1 on inviting @jkrems to participate on the debugger discussion.

I probably will not be able to make it to this one. Apologies.

What does "accept as draft" mean? There are still some loose ends so I think it's too early to accept it as-is.

I don't know if I'll be home in time to make the call. Apologies if I don't show up.

dangit... totally forgot about the time shift. Was still thinking the call was at 9:00am Pacific Time instead of 8:00am. My apologies for missing the call.
