doc: require two-factor authentication #10529
Conversation
Collaborators have elevated privileges. The CTC now requires Collaborator accounts to have two-factor authentication. This changes wording in the onboarding documentation to make it clear that two-factor authentication is required and not merely recommended.
Sorry, @evanlucas and @cjihrig! I revised the text a little bit. Take another look if you have a moment. |

Still LGTM too
Note that this is the step that gives the account elevated privileges, so
do not perform this step (or any subsequent steps) unless two-factor
authentication is enabled on the new Collaborator's GitHub account.

Nit: is it better to use only 1 blank line? It seems that is what is used predominately throughout the document.

I'm going to argue that this change is trivial enough that it does not need to wait the full 48 hours (it's also something that the CTC has discussed extensively and has already reached consensus on) |
