  • preview 2 officially launched
    • plan is to use jco implementation, slowly move to native implementations where appropriate
    • Guy, support for Web IDL bindings added to jco - https://bytecodealliance.github.io/jco/transpiling.html#experimental-webidl-imports, very experimental but proves out concept.
    • If jco is going to add extensions beyond the core WASI support, what does that mean for
      Node.js integration? Should those additional things be exposed?
    • Blain, agree it would be cool, but initially would likely just want to expose preview 2 apis.
      Guy that could be an option.
    • Good discussion around how to start on preview 2.
    • some updates will be posted to Preview2 Status #255 and
      Solidify plan for WASI Preview 2 #275, along with some updates to the README.md
