We are a collective of developers working on the main marketplaces on Nostr, including Shopstr, Cypher, Plebeian, and Conduit. We have been discussing and working on making our projects more interoperable. While NIP-99 is very broad in its use cases, it was lacking specific conventions for e-commerce, which has become the primary use case for developers implementing the specification. This led to custom implementations and unclear methods for implementing e-commerce using NIP-99. This pull request simply adds a link to the specification we are developing and have consensus on, allowing other developers who want to implement NIP-99 for e-commerce to discover how the major developers are approaching it. In this way, we ensure that NIP-99 remains lightweight and allows for broad use cases while also providing guidance for the e-commerce use case that is currently prevalent.
