The current width of nwg-panel has two basic variables:

  1. Automatic > where the panel automatically adjusts to the width of the display
  2. Manual > enter a number in pixels so a semi-floating status of the panel can be achieved

I prefer a semi-floating panel. When switching displays (laptop=1920x1080, external display 2560x1440) I currently adjust the panel-width (see manual pixel width.png (2550 width)).
It would be nice if the panel width could be entered as a percentage of the display width (i.e. 98%), so it adjusted automatically.
Thanks for looking into this.

This should not be difficult. I'm not sure what the config form should look like, but I'll try to come up with something.

OK mate, would be nice. No urgency!
