This README file contains information on the contents of the meta-imx8mp-isp-imx219 layer.

This layer enables IMX219 camera sensor ISP support on IMX8MP evk

1. Compile i.MX8MP EVK board  with IMX219 enabled
$ source sources/meta-imx8mp-isp-imx219/setup/setup-env-imx8mp-imx219 -b build-imx8mp-imx219
$ bitbake imx-image-full

2. Test
a. plug imx219 sensor to the evk board MIPI CSI1
b. Flash a Micro SD card with the image in build-imx8mp-imx219/tmp/deploy
c. set uboot:
> setenv fdtfile imx8mp-evk-imx219.dtb
> saveenv
> boot
d. Test with gstreamer
$ gst-launch-1.0 -v v4l2src device=/dev/video2 ! "video/x-raw,format=YUY2,width=1920,height=1080" ! queue ! waylandsink
