This issue affects UEFI PCs and will cause the system to not be able to boot upon installation. The cause for this issue is that during the installation of third-party drivers and software (an option selected during the installation process) the system will assume you are using a BIOS system and be unable to install GRUB for UEFI systems.
The fix for this is to not enable "Install third party software for graphics, WiFi hardware ..."
