How it works

Both spotify and spicetify will be locked to their respective working versions and will not auto update, keeping your spicetify working for longer. Every couple of months i'll update the versions of spotify and spicetify that work together.

Use Case

I would like to mention this in no way replaces the installation process recommended by spicetify on their wiki, its instead a fall back if you are unable to get the latest version of spicetify running no matter what you've tried. if you havent tried the traditional method i do not recommend starting here.

Future Plans

I plan to keep this as updated as possible, however i am human. There doesnt seem to be as much demand for this project as myself and willyjl are putting in, but i will still be as dedicated as i can realistically be. I would like for this to become (maybe) referenced on the official spicetify github as a starting point for troubleshooting.
