Cube: Does it matter which side of the cube gets which color?

Just wondering if we need certain colors on certain faces of the cube. For example, do we need green to be on the front face? Or is it fine as long as each face has a unique color?

No, it doesn't matter which colour the front face is, as long as the relative order of faces is correct.
