runner.py in the mmengine repo looks for the message_hub key in the checkpoint['state_dict'].
Reproduces the problem - command or script
python tools/train.sh --resume <path to pretrained checkpoint>
Reproduces the problem - error message
When resuming a model to finetune, MMengine expects to have a 'message_hub' key in the checkpoint.
However, it seems like MMPose does not save the 'message_hub' when saving the torch model (#2036) This causes the following issue:
File "/mmengine/mmengine/runner/runner.py", line 2075, in resume
self.message_hub.load_state_dict(checkpoint['message_hub'])
KeyError: 'message_hub'

While loading the checkpoint, my args.resume was set to True. It should be set to False if you are just looking to load a checkpoint.
If you are looking to initialize the pretrained-weights, the correct way to do is to set args.load_from as the path to the pretrained weights, and set args.resume to False.
