What

  • Log whenever people encounter an unknown product using Matomo

Why

  • Comments like these: Disaster, out of five products, two recognized and lack of information. The competition does better. The old version worked better.
  • I suspect it's a scan issue, but not 100% sure. It would allow to rule out lack of products
  • It would also allow to get a ratio of people who actually decide to add the product

Unrelated

  • by the way @g123k, the complain is build 722 (after fixes) on a Pixel 5

@teolemon Regarding "unknown products", it may come from the country and language filters.

I mean in the scan screen. Encounter the Unknown product card, in the context of the scan screen.

I guess we filter country and language in the scan screen too. Shouldn't we?
Or the point here is just to send a message to Sentry when we scan an unknown product, and that's it.
