Madison is a collaborative, crowd-sourced document editing platform. It can be used for any type of document, but has been built with the idea of using it to gather input on policy documents on the federal, state, and municipal levels.

Madison is composed of a Laravel (PHP) application delivering a JSON REST API, and a static frontend built with Angular JS. All you need to run it is a standard LAMP/LEMP stack. Read more about the architecture.
Currently, we are in the process of restructuring the project to make deployment easier - this work makes up the 3.0 Milestone. Read more about our Roadmap.
