I am in charge of the part of move data source management/advanced settings/saved objects management out of dashboard management. |
Here's before/after screenshot of the tactical changes to categories we need to make. Please note that this is aligned to the way our menu works in the OUI webstie, however, we may need to extend the API of the OSD menu in order to achieve this. @kavilla -- FYI

I like this very much because that way I dont have to go Dashboards Management before I can see the index patterns! works for me! |

@raintygao - @kgcreative and I are working on testing the design proposed in this issue, and will be making some changes to it. We expect to have the new navigation structure solidified shortly. I can share the updated design with you here when it is ready. |
