Currently each PT relation should have a name that looks like this [route type] [ref]: [from] → [to]. This information is included in every relation that's made under the new scheme (PTv2) and it should be easy to generate it automatically instead of having to add a name to each relation.

Might be worth investigating whether it’s really necessary to form this systematic name for each relation, either manually or automatically, just so JOSM knows how to label it in a list of relations. That part of the PTv2 schema is overdue to be revisited, in my opinion.
