The daemon is the cli (no GUI) "core" that you run in your terminal/command prompt.

If you want to build from source on Linux, the build-linux script will build the latest commit from the master branch.
macOS and Linux can use the rpc script to send commands to the daemon (while it's running).
This is a modern GUI for Vcash, and can also be used to manage multiple wallets via SSH.
The Vcash daemon also comes pre-bundled with the Vcash-Electron binaries.
