Looks good. Can you just add the new prune_task_threads
option to the man/man4/zfs.4
man page.
I was not sure whether I want to expose it widely, but added since you asked. |

On FreeBSD vnode reclamation is single-threaded, protected by single global lock. Linux seems to be able to use a thread per mount point, but at this time it creates more harm than good. That's correct - but the issue we were facing was the massive CPU usage
from `arc_prune` (load average shooting up to 180+ and staying there, on
an 16 core box normally chugging along at 10-20 load average) meant the
box was too busy to do anything else, including making headway on the
reclamation. The patches completely fixed this problem.
