What is the version of your ORAS CLI

0.16.0

What would you like to be added?

I would like to add release and images for linux/s390x architecture. This architecture is used on IBM Z (formerly known as IBM Mainframe).

Why is this needed for ORAS?

Currently different architectures and operating systems are released e.g. windows/linux, arm64/adm64 etc. It would be great to release another architecture, so oras could be used in more scenarios. At my company we run Linux and Kubernetes on s390x and we need a way to push oci artifacts to a registry. oras seems to be good choice for that. Currently we build oras ourselves, so it would be a help to download it directlry from oras release on github.

Are you willing to submit PRs to contribute to this feature?

  • Yes, I am willing to implement it.
