1.f UX Platforms and Tools

We use a variety of cloud-based tools to run UX Research and Design.

To gain access to these tools, please plan to attend project meetings to get to know UX leadership. We want to make sure that you are a real person and that you can be trusted to access tools that contain sensitive information. We are an open source project, and we want to make sure that the right people have access to prevent bad actors.

  Please create an issue to request access from UX leadership, requires access to orcasound.ux Google account and sign in credentials (do not make public)

• Figma

  Please create an issue to request access from UX leadership, requires your email address

• Google Drive

  You will have view access at first, and the project lead of the team you join can give you edit permission. Security is a concern, and we want to make sure active, engaged Orcasound volunteers are given access.

• We use a variety of tools that use our orcasound.ux Google account- access is problematic due to Google’s security measures and difficulty authenticating users signing in from anywhere in the world

  • Consider using your own Google account- if you require access to the orcasound.ux Google account for these tools, please create an issue to request from UX leadership
