How to install MySQL 8.4 via Homebrew (8.3 is obsolete)?

Description of issue

Homebrew's formula for mysql is 8.3:

% brew info mysql
==> mysql: stable 8.3.0 (bottled)

However, 8.3 is an Innovation Release of MySQL and reached end of life in April 2024. MySQL 8.4 was release April 30, 2024 and is MySQL's new LTS version (after 8.0). I cannot find 8.4 in Homebrew. Is there a way to get Homebrew to install MySQL 8.4?
