could not find apriltag_ros during installation

Hi!

I'm using:

• Ubuntu 20.04
• ROS 1 Noetic

When running the installer (./xsarm_amd64_install.sh) I get this:

-- Could NOT find apriltag_ros (missing: apriltag_ros_DIR)
-- Could not find the required component 'apriltag_ros'. The following CMake error indicates that you either need to install the package with the same name or change your environment so that it can be found.
CMake Error at /opt/ros/noetic/share/catkin/cmake/catkinConfig.cmake:83 (find_package):
  Could not find a package configuration file provided by "apriltag_ros" with
  any of the following names:

    apriltag_rosConfig.cmake
    apriltag_ros-config.cmake

  Add the installation prefix of "apriltag_ros" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
  "apriltag_ros_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files.  If
  "apriltag_ros" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it
  has been installed.

I have tried to install this package with "sudo apt install ros-noetic-apriltag" but before that the installation still gives the same error.
Please help!

apriltag_ros is a dependency that should have been installed in the rosdep stage of the installation script. If you're missing dependencies, you can run the rosdep command below:

cd ~/interbotix_ws
rosdep install --from-paths src --ignore-src -r -y

Or if you're missing just the one, you can install it using:

sudo apt-get install ros-noetic-apriltag-ros

I managed to solve it by uninstalling ROS 1 Noetic entirely and letting the installer install it. I know it's a rather radical solution but I was sure it would work. I have not been able to test the solution you propose. Thank you very much anyway. I consider it closed. Thanks again.
