Using Midnight BSD with Windows

IHAQ (a couple) about installing windows alongside midnight BSD. Is it best to install Windows first or MBSD first?
The second question is a bit longer.
I have a laptop that originally came installed with Windows 10 Home Edition. Do I install that and upgrade it to Win11 or install Win11 directly? I have an SSD that I want to use + a much larger HDD. I already have run the midnight BSD installer a few times on the SSD and I don't need the dual boot screen, I know how to load the bootloader of MBSD.

I have a feeling I can install windows first and install MBSD again, as long as I dedicate a partition on the SSD for windows to use. Can I use the windows installer to make these partitions or do I need to pre-allocate from a Linux OS ( i have a few on my HDD).
