Hello from the GitHub Pages team 👋

Excellent question! In the past, a private subdomain could change more often as it was randomly generated but we changed the behavior to make private Pages easier to work with. As long as you don't delete the Page by setting the source to branch / none, the generated subdomain will stay the same. You may see a change if you delete a Page and create a new one on the same repository - this is a new Page and part of how we generate the subdomain uses the Page's id.
