why is my link getting a 404 error

this is what my current code looks like for the page in question. When I select a link, it gives me a 404 error code

    Interpretation of "recipes/bbqribs.html" alike path may be ambiguous:
    Probably means "./${Path}" than "/${Path}" most of the time. (implementation dependent)

    "./${Path}": from current directory.
    "/${Path}": from the root.

This is the right explanation for what the author did wrong.

Unless a webpage is hosted at the root of a system, /recipes/ will not be the same as recipes/.

    Maybe mere notifying the author shall be more appropriate, rather than posting here:
    Creating pointless noise mostly irrelevant.

That's a very strange argument to make, when the result of the stalebot's posting was, ultimately, that someone other than the author posted comments that ultimately resulted in an answer being selected.

I'm not saying the stalebot made that happen, but it calling attention to the discussion clearly had the desired effect. Notifying the author alone would not have.
