Select Topic AreaQuestion BodyI'm a contributor to a private repository of some user and i commit occasionally to that repo and since it is a private repo so the commits don't count as contribution but, today it did. Why this unusual behavior happpened? |

There is a case when you commit to your development branch, contributions will appear to your profile only if you merge your development and main branches. Otherwise, all of your commits would not show on you contributions graph, until you merge it with main. Other occasion is when you do not check "Private contributions" option in your "Contribution settings", which are located in your profile overview. |
