Hi @unviere, You wrote you want to access your repository through http://www.unviere.github.io/Unviere, that is, using the domain www.unviere.github.io. Unfortunately, does is not possible as far as I know. github does give you unviere.github.io based on your project/repo name, but what it does not allow you is to add another subdomain (www in addition to unviere). If you do want to have a domain starting with www, you would have to obtain a domain on your own, outside of github. This usually costs money, and it could also not be www.unviere.github.io, since github owns unviere.github.io and everything below and does not let you change their DNS records, but this would be necessary for a custom domain. The web interface does not even let you try. Using your own domain though, this is usually easy. A description of what to do exactly can be found here. The exact steps and GUI do depend on your domain provider, but the idea is always the same: point the domain towards the github settings mentioned in the link above. |
