Hello i have this error vhen i like to use copilot chat in vscode insider... can you help me?

Hi @nomopo ,

Not sure if it's related but apparently according to this open issue in vscode-copilot-release repo the SSL certificate used by api.github.com and api.githubcopilot.com has expired; check out the last comments in the thread, there's a fix that worked for some Windows and MacOS users which consists on deleting some expired certificates and restarting VS Code.

Hey @nomopo , I suggest you first try uninstalling and reinstalling the Copilot extension in VS Code because you can often fix problems simply by doing that. If the error persists try the solution found in the open issue I commented earlier.

On MacOS:

1. Open up Keychain Access
2. View > Show Expired Certificates.
3. Sort the login keychain by expire date.
4. Look for a set of expired certificates.
5. Delete them and restart vscode.

On Windows:

1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
2. Type certmgr.msc and press Enter to open the Certificate Manager.
3. Right-Click on Certificates-Current User and click "Find Certificates".
4. Search for "addtrust".
5. Look for a set of expired certificates.
6. Delete them and restart vscode.
