Looking for any info sends me to your whoa abuse page upon the second request.
As I do very few searches, it starts to get offensive.

Hi, sorry that it took a while to answer.
For instance: i just did https://github.com/search?q=org%3Aterminusdb%20*.ttl&type=repositories
Once I click on a link, and then go back, it doesn't use the cache, but apparently searches again and gives me
"Whoa there!
You have exceeded a secondary rate limit."

I was unable to replicate on my end..
Do you use a VPN? shared access to your computer or account? Have you ever used the API search (could someone else be using your auth token to do searches)?

No VPN, no sharing, never noticed anything suspicious. Never used the API, would never share my account. I do use different computers, but never at the same time. First search request always comes through. When I open the links presented by the search in a different tab, there's no problem. Seems it only happens when I open a link from the search directly and then go back.

I'm seeing "You have exceeded a secondary rate limit" ANY TIME I SEARCH, even if it's the first search. Using a standard Mullvad Wireguard VPN, uBlock Origin, blocking cross-site, fingerprint, trackers, etc. I agree with OP, it is offensive (and kind of cringe).
