Not able to sent messages or make edits

as title says.
Mostly i find my solutions here at github, so i don't have to write any or much.
Sometimes i'm with beta and testing stuff out for devs and time to time i have to reply or add an issue.

while browsing with the app is fully functional, i can open an issue, write it down and thats all.
in the upper right corner is the send-button but only as a "picture". it does nothing, not even highlighting.

next i was trying to edit my git profile. trying. the edit gear has the same issue.

i reseted and reinstalled the app, did a new login. didn't change anything.

since i was invited from the playstore staff to complain here (directlink) i think it's something completly differnt. :-D

any thoughts, tipps?

Found the issue.
Some manufacturer like Notches, that screen spare part called front camera.
Most users do not like it.
Some firmwares have the option to mask the notch and are adding an invisible top-layer, a mask.
I have that.
For compatibility reasons, there is a fullscreen mode for apps.
Its not working.
So, showing the notch, means disabling the overlaymask, did the trick.
Thanks Xiaomi....

Oh and it looks like GApps have the same issue.
