Hi there :)!

Yes! If I understood well you can remove the co-author from your commit to GitHub. Here's what you can do:

  1. Go to your commit in the GitHub web interface;
  2. Click on the commit message to open the commit details page;
  3. Click on the "Edit" (pencil icon) next to the commit message;
  4. In the commit message editor, locate the line that includes the co-author's name and email address. The line should start with "Co-authored-by:";
  5. Remove this entire line;
  6. Click on "Commit changes" and save it;
