No tooltips on notification action buttons

The on-hover buttons in the notifications section have no tooltips describing what they are / what they do. Icons alone are really not sufficient.

Came here to report the same issue. Yeah, this is not good:

Notification actions are tabbable but

• they are not in the accessibility tree;
• it's absolutely unclear what they do, even for people without disabilities. Say, what does ✔️ do? Resolve the ticket? Mark as read? ("Mark as done" actually.)

Hi I am also reporting the same issue, here is detailed feedback on this issue.

Issue: The icons used for actions in the Notification inbox do not have text labeling the icon.

Why this is an issue: This design provides a poor and inaccessible user experience. With this current design, it is unclear what each of the actions do- specifically:

• What does the check mark icon do to the notification when clicked?
• What does the crossed-out bell icon do to the notification when clicked?
• What does the bookmark icon do to the notification when clicked?

Furthermore, when one of these actions is taken, there is no status change or message stating what action took place.

Expected behavior: The expected behavior, would be to attach a title="..." attribute to each icon with the label of the icon, being sure it is descriptive to the action of the button. As well as to use the tooltip role. Or, if there is enough screen space, make the label and icon visible without the use of a tooltip for the best user experience.
